The hotel was located in a resort environment, walking distance to the sea and amongst other luxurious villa's and appartments. Personnel had a really good sense of how service should be delivered, they were helpful in any way.

Our stay at Lagunamar was enjoyable, memorable and adventurous. The location, excellent onsite facilitites, feeling safe and relaxed in premises not too far from the beaches yet having both indoor and outdoor pools with close proximity to golf-courses, shopping and restaurants made the holiday great. We love the venue and plan to come back again and again. Thanks to the extremely friendly staff for making our holiday wonderful.
As there were many children in the facility (during this holiday time) it would have been excllent to have one or two weekly activities for them even if parents had to pay for these.

The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious too. We found the hotel suite was attractive and very spacious with a wonderful view.
The lighting in the suite was a little dull.

Spotlessly clean, luxurious feel. Loved it and would definitely return, only if we had a car though! Staff very friendly and professional. Good food.
Bit far away from everything if you don't have a car. Booked.net website states it's 6.6klm's from Faro airport! No way its this short distance. Our taxi cost us €30 to get to the hotel from the airport and €41 on the way back as it was early morning!

Enjoyed staying at this Apart Hotel. Excellent. Staff was good and polite.
Just two minor aspects: the bed/mattress was a little too hard and the jam at breakfast was of poor quality.

The layout, the poolside and fitness facilities. The rooms were very good apartments.
Breakfast was to be at 0900 onwards and we had a plane to catch. No one was no sign of breakfast at 0910 and we had to create a fuss to get a rushed breakfast and dash off to the airport.

Wonderful hotel, very modern, Breakfast starts at 9am and one of my meetings started at 7am,. I informed receiption and the lovely lad on receiption brough me up some breakfast supplies the night before. So I could eat before getting picked up. I feel the staff really done all they could and more to make my stay enjoyable.

Unfortunately only stayed for one night before our flight home, it would have been nice to stay longer , the staff were very friendly and efficient, pool area was very tropical, excellent pool. The room was spacious with plenty of ' home from home' equipment. Laguna mar is in a quiet location I would certainly recommend a car. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

The welcoming staff and to feel relaxed instantly the apartment was spacious and relaxing. Nothing was too much trouble and although staying in a hotel you felt as though no one else was around. The setting was beautiful although remote it suited us and we would recommend it

I loved the relaxed yet professional atmosphere. We were here during down time (end of September) so it was pleasantly quiet and you could listen to the wind rustling the palm trees while dining on the terrace. The pool was excellent and also the surrounding vegetation. The personnel were informed and always pleasant and our room was clean and stylish and spacious and always smelt of clean soap. There are two televisions in the apartment (living room and bedroom), plentiful towels in the bathroom. And the breakfast was varied and plentiful
The restaurant was very good but offered a limited selection of dishes (perhaps because it was end of season). Tv channels were very limited as there were only 2 English channels and the rest were Portuguese and Spanish (bring your DVDs as a dvd player is provided).

You need a car, local restaurants not within walking distance. Inconsistent quality in the evening meals at hotel.

The staff were all very polite & smiley. The hotel is vey new modern rooms spacious & well equipted. Good breakfast. plenty to do in area but car is a must!!
For me the hotel is facing the wrong direction sun in the morning on pool/majority of rooms. No bars or restaurants other than hotels within walking distance. But still a very good hotel.
